How the Rid-Max Works!

These traps are an environmentally safe alternative to bags, bottles, sticky poles and strips. They don't stink, don't stick and do not add to landfills because they are REUSABLE! Within 3 to 5 weeks of using these traps there will be a noticeable decrease of flies in your area. Location is important for best capture rate, move the trap to new locations to find out where your flies are most likely to enter the trap.

Why do they do it?: The normal behavior of a fly is to move in a upwards direction. These traps use this behavior and attract the fly to a bait under their hollow cone. After the fly leaves the bait it enters the cone and moves up, through the hole in the top of the cone, into the main basket where they are simply too stupid to escape back down the hole.

How does the Rid-Max works: Rid-Max, without the hanging kit, can be set on the ground over any attractant (i.e., dog droppings). Rid-Max, with the hanging kit, can be hung in any location away from where you want to be. Adjust the bait plate attachment so that it is about 1/2" to 1" below the bottom ring. After flies have been trapped in the main basket, within hours they naturally dehydrate. The dehydrated flies accumulate at the bottom of the cone inside the basket. When ready, just push the cone ring in and dump the flies out into the trash. Replace the cone, add attractant, and Rid-Max is ready to catch more flies.

Thank you for my fly trap. It works great.  I've had my Rid Max set up for 2 weeks and have almost filled it up. Pretty gross but it really
works.
